Steven started his photographic career from leaving school, learning the trade by shadowing local photographers, picking up ideas and tips as he went. At the same time he was also covering gigs with bands such as Del Amitri, Buzzcocks, The Mission and Manic Street Preachers.

After working for the Northampton Chronicle and Echo for five years, he moved to Buckinghamshire as Senior Photographer working for three weekly titles. During his time there he picked up several awards within the Central Counties Newspaper Group, including three Photographer of the Year and Photograph of the Year.

Leaving Buckinghamshire, Steven spent a short stint at Bedfordshire on Sunday before forming KBO Photography. He is building a growing list of clients, both private and commercial as well as regularly contributing to local newspapers and national magazines.

Steven’s enthusiasm and search for the best photograph is as strong now as it was when he first started out.
